Standard

Season 1 is the Scranton ensemble in miniature: Michael runs the branch, Jim likes Pam, Pam is engaged to Roy.

No Casino Night confession yet. The kiss and the public love speech are Season 2.

Casino Night ends Season 2 with Jim telling Pam he is in love with her - and a kiss.

Season 2 built Jim/Pam tension, Michael's neediness, and the mockumentary family. Casino Night is the emotional hinge into Season 3.

Branch introduced; downsizing threat; Jim/Pam crush seeds.

Diversity Day and early Michael incidents.

Casino Night: Jim tells Pam he loves her; they kiss.

Dwight/Angela secret; Michael-Jan tension.

Season bridge: everything above is end of Season 2. S03E01 ("Gay Witch Hunt") has not started.

Cutoff discipline: every fact above ends at S02E22. Do not import anything from S03E01 ("Gay Witch Hunt") or later.
